After the passing of Kenneth McLean of Smithville Flats NY, this tin box came into my possession, the son-n-law of Kenneth, married to his daughter Gloria McLean. For years I thought this tin box stored with many of my parents past items was one of their belongings. While doing some cleaning on Dec 23rd 2009 I opened the box and then determined this box and it's contents at one time must have belonged to Kenneth McLean. A person that enjoyed history and history of the area he lived in. So the purpose of this blog is to capture a sliver of Kenneth McLean's historic interests by cataloging the contents of this tin box There are approx 70 photos and other material to catalog, thus this is an ongoing project
